Drinking Water (& Other Healthy Drinks)

As we all know – water is so important for our health! After sleeping & fasting through the night, our body is in need of hydration come morning time.

Be sure to start your day with plenty of water, and continue to drink it all day long! You could also add trace minerals and fresh lemon juice for added health benefits.

Eating a Balanced Breakfast

Again – we have been fasting all night, and our bodies are in need of fuel for the day! Be sure to eat a breakfast that is high in protein and also contains complex carbs and healthy fats. A serving of fruits or veggies is great, too!

An example of a balanced breakfast: 2 eggs with a piece of sprouted toast topped with grass-fed butter and a side of strawberries.

Moving Your Body / Exercising

Movement is so important for our bodies and for our mood. A good workout or some solid movement (such as a walk) really sets the tone for the day and sets us up for success right away!

Exposing Yourself to Sunlight

Getting outside for a short amount of time after waking up can be really beneficial. It helps signal to our body that it’s time to wake up, which in turn helps regulate our circadian rhythm! This can aid in getting better sleep, too!
